I had the good fortune of being awarded a second Fund For Teachers Grant in 2024 to explore the mathematical motifs present in the art of the indigenous cultures of Australia & New Zealand. My goal was to develop class projects rooted in community and culture that connect geometric concepts to art while honoring a First Nations perspective.
